Horizon Health currently owns or manages facilities in three communities designed to keep seniors independent and active in their hometowns.
Each apartment setting (for seniors 62 years age and older) provides secure, comfortable living within a retirement community. Located in quiet residential areas, each setting is close to all city conveniences. (Sunny Pines in Motley is also able to provide housing if you are younger than 62 with a disability.)

Each setting has one-bedroom apartments equipped with a stove and refrigerator. Each apartment has a living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, bedroom, and lots of closet areas. Each unit has spacious windows to enjoy the beautiful seasonal changes. Residents and guests can enjoy the warm, inviting community room, which may use for special parties or family gatherings. Laundry facilities and daily mail delivery are on-site, and there is also off-street parking.

Rental assistance is available to income eligible citizens who are able to live independently and are 62 years of age. (Sunny Pines also serves persons with disabilities regardless of age). Qualified tenants will pay 30% of their adjusted income or 10% of their annual income, whichever is higher. Applications on file are the first to receive housing consideration.
Heat, water, and trash removal are included in the rent and an electrical allowance is provided, which for most residents covers all electrical costs as well.
