Harding Place is a homelike residential setting for men with special needs related to psychiatric disabilities. This quiet rural care facility is located on the southern edge of Minnesota's great lake country, just 20 miles south of Brainerd and 45 miles northeast of St. Cloud.

Located in a small community, Harding Place offers residents the comfort and serenity they need in their lives. This setting features open space for leisurely walks, garden areas, and unobstructed views of the Minnesota seasons.

Harding Place is designed to encourage resident involvement in all aspects of daily living. Large living areas provide residents with the opportunity to pursue leisure time activities like playing pool, putting together puzzles, playing table games, visiting, or reading. Private and semi-private rooms can accommodate a variety of personal items. There is also plenty of room to walk indoors in inclement weather.

Licensed as a board and lodging facility providing special services by the MN Department of Health and Morrison County Public Health
A welcoming atmosphere for up to 30 residents in private and semi-private rooms
Around the clock supervision by qualified staff
Weekly visits by a Registered Nurse consultant.
Three home-cooked meals plus snacks daily

Medication assistance and monitoring
Personal funds monitoring and assistance as needed
Regular community and recreational outings

Additional Services Include:

Arrange for appointments for medical and social services
Provide storage for medications if requested
Assistance in preparation and administration of medication other than injections
Providing therapeutic diets
Monitoring vital signs
Providing assistance with dressing, grooming or bathing
Assistance with personal funds as desired by the resident or guardian.
