OUR VISION

Horizon Health’s vision is to positively impact the quality of life of older family members and neighbors living within the hometown they supported. Through careful planning and partnering, we will ensure access to healthy living choices all through life, vital information, and employment opportunities. Our vision is a senior friendly environment where community members will maintain their active, healthy and independent lives.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Horizon Health, Inc. is directed by a Board from Pierz and surrounding communities.

Current board members include:

• Lorae Vardas -- Lorae has served on the Horizon Health Board for 14 years; she is currently the Chair. Ms. Vardas is a media reporter for the area and resides in Pierz. She serves on the Pierz Lions Club, Country Place and Unity Family Healthcare Boards, and is active in many other organizations.
  
• Phillip Force -- Phil has served on the Board for 6 years; he is currently the Vice Chair. He is retired from education and was the High School Principal in Little Falls for many years. Mr. Force and his wife reside in Little Falls.
  
• Floyd Mathiowetz -- Floyd has been on the Horizon Health Board since its founding in 1991. He is currently Secretary/Treasurer. He is a church trustee and Branch Manager of Unity Bank in Genola/Pierz. Floyd resides with his wife in Pierz.
  
• Gerald Peterschick -- Jerry has served on the Board since 2000. He also sits on the Eagle Court and Country Place Boards. Jerry is the City Clerk of Randall and resides in Randall.
  
• Barb Rebischke -- Barb was employed with Horizon Health for 16 years, most recently as Executive Director. Barb has been involved in Horizon Health since 1991. She served as Executive Director from 2001-2007. She is Executive Director of Opportunity Manor in Sauk Rapids and resides in Avon.
  
• Rob Ronning -- Rob joined the Board in 2006. He is the President and C.E.O. of Pine Country Bank of Royalton, Little Falls, and Bowlus. He is a member of the Morrison County United Way Board and the Economic Development Boards of Rice and Royalton; he is also very active with the Little Falls Chamber. Rob and his family reside in Little Falls.
  
• Julie Woitolla -- Julie has been a Board member for 6 years. She is employed as the School Nurse for District 484 and is a businesswoman. Prior to her Board membership, she was an employee of Horizon Health. Julie resides with her husband in Pierz.
  
• Gary Block -- Gary joined the Board in 2007 after serving as Chair of the Partnership in Life Capital Campaign. He is a former Little Falls radio personality and currently owns and operates Gary Block Tours.

• Bridget Britz - Bridget has been employed with Horizon Health for over five years. She is currently the Executive Director.
