We're a progressive housing and health care organization, proudly serving families and seniors for over 15 years, and our scope of service continues to grow.

We firmly believe that each person has the right to housing and health care options within the community they live. Each day, our caring professionals assist over 330 people through personalized home care, assisted living, independent senior housing, community outreach, and volunteer programs.

We're a nonprofit organization based in Pierz, Minnesota, with locations and services throughout Central Minnesota. Our mission of service and commitment to providing healthy living options for people within their hometown communities is summarized in a few words:

Our current programs include:

• Home Care -- A Medicare-certified program with professional staff that provides skilled nursing services, physical, speech and occupational therapy, personal care assistance, Home Health Aides, IV therapy, social services and automated medication machines in the privacy and comfort of one’s home.
  
• Assisted Living Facilities -- including:
  • Harmony Houses -- memory-care assisted living in several communities, and
  • Harding Place -- a board and lodging facility for veterans and other men with long-term mental illness.
• Senior Housing -- Independent apartment settings, offering affordable, neighborhood-like living to income-eligible older adults aged 62 and over.
  
• Caregiver Services -- Volunteers of many faiths work together to assist family caregivers who care for loved ones at home.
• Senior Advocacy -- Information service provides older adults with news related to issues that impact their lives. One-to-one and group educational meetings help people make informed decisions.
  
• Housing Consulting -- Professional consulting services that assist rural communities to ensure older adults will have local housing options.
  
• Adult Foster Care -- "United Friends" are homes designed to live and experience community for adults with developmental disabilities.
